No, though it is often misused to express bitterness as part of the refutation of Christianity. Atheism (literally "without God-ism") is the absense of religion or spiritual belief, not a form of belief of it's own even though many people who call themselves Atheist are ignorant of that. Bitterness can work both ways though. :-) Peace.

I thought that is why everyone came on here. It was a place for atheists and religious alike to come and be bitter against each other.

There is absolutely no reason to suggest that you are any more spiritual than we are. What has spirituality to do with religion and/or Jesus? Sounds like you need to expand your narrow view point.

Perhaps they try so hard to communicate, because they sense it is your last hope of waking up from your pseudo-spirituality and thinking more seriously about Jesus' true message and the real nature of your relationship to god.

so here I am
and yes I am very spiritual
and as for those who dont believe in God ... you would be including Buddhists , who are about the most spiritual people I know
