yes what is the percent of cases at the hearing level of ssi/ssdi, and how much could someone get if they got just enough credit in and applied for both ssi/ssdi, about range.

Be sure to have plenty of medical evidence about your condition. Social security is more interested in how your disability affects you daily in life. Not that you have a mental disorder. It needs to be serious enough under their rules. Many people have mental disorders and still work....
When you get up to the hearing level you have a good chance of winning as long as you have more proof on how the disorder effects your functioning.
You need a good lawyer too. The income you will receive depends on your past work .

Your odds are good if you have a serious mental illness (Major Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia or a Psychosis). A word of caution, most applicants are turned down the first time they apply. Make sure you use a good lawyer who specializes in disability cases. Your "appeal" is when you will probably be awarded benefits. Monetary awards are based on income and it helps to not have any assets.
