As noted, the Biblical fruit is never referred to as an apple. That idea came many years later and is not supported by Scripture.
Nothing is inherently evil. Evil is a concept through which we judge the actions of others. It does not reside in an apple or anything else.

Only if you live here in Washington state, where we have to see them every 2 minutes, and worship them and whatnot. It gets old. If you are speaking of the fairy-tale reference to apples in the Bible: I honestly don't believe it was an apple. For those of us that have actually read a bible, it does not mention the word "apple" anywhere in the bible. I know the Garden of Eden was a "special place made by God", but if it was really between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, as it says, I have never heard of apples growing in that region of Africa. I live in Washington, I have to be an expert on apples *yay*

No, apples are not evil, nor are they identified in Genesis 3. The whole thing is a plot by the Pommegranite Marketing Board-- oops! I've said too much!

The Bible does not state that Adam and Eve ate an apple. The fruit has traditionally been portrayed as an apple, but that's a man made portrayal as the Bible simply says 'fruit'.

no, there fruit, responsibility for ethical actions a bit heavy
if you mean the "Adam and eve" it never says apples but there easy to draw. there's a comic called "after Eden" and he makes them look like a cross between a apple, grapes and a hand grenade

No. I assume you're asking this in regard to the forbidden fruit in Genesis. We don't know what the fruit is, but it probably wasn't an apple. I personally think it probably was a unique fruit that doesn't exist today.

no, if you're talking about Adam and Eve, it is never really specified as to what the forbidden fruit was.
some stories just evolved to make the apple the temptation.

The FRUIT wasn't evil. The action of going against what God said WAS. So no... apples aren't evil unless maybe you need meds, do you?

They aren't evil. If you are referring to Adam & Eve, they ate the "fruit." It doesn't say they ate an apple.

I had a Power Mac about 10 years ago that was pretty evil for awhile. But I exorcised it with anti-virus software and then it was okay.
