Man, your probably not extremly drunk!
An ex friend of mine always said he could remember everything when he was drunk, some people have more ability to remember I guess. But then once at my house he got so wasted he was literally changed into a different personality, lol! He drank way more Jack than he would have usually, probably about 1 and a half to 2 big bottles. He couldn't remember that night, so I guess the ability to remember and the amount of alcohol varies with different people. That was an extreme example.
Ususally I remember the night, but sometimes I only remember bits and I didn't think I was that drunk. If its a boring night with not much happening you are more likely to forget most of it.
It all just varies. Believe me, you will have a night that you wont remember.
I don't drink anymore, its just so boring now and the occasional hangovers are not worth it. I've moved on to better substances, hehe
Oh by the way, the loss of braincells thing that one person said is a myth, there is no evidence to support it. The only way you would lose braincells is if you were drinking every day heavily, on an empty stomach, and didnt have enough B vitimins. Now thats dangerous, you would end up ****** up.
But drinking once in a while is fine.
The drinking age in America is 21
The drinking age here is 18
The drinking age in Germany is 16
So you can't really go by age I suppose. As long as your mature enough to handle your drink, its cool.
ALSO, whoever said you have blackouts because of a high tolerance, thats bullshit! In fact the contrary is true!
Good luck man

Okay, you drink and you experience some side effects. But you don't experience memory loss. Memory loss is trickly, how do you know you didn't lose any memories, you wouldn't remember? Maybe you just haven't been drunk enough? It's like some people get sick, others don't. There are many variables: your body mass, age, the type of drink, the speed of the intake, etc.

I was a weekend drunk, no booze between. I would drink between 14 beers or 7 or 8 well drinks. Occasionally I had a bit more.
There was never a night I could not remember.

Be happy you don't black out, very happy because during those times, you really have no control over what you do. I've blacked out before but it doesn't happen anymore, Thank goodness; however its still easy to do crazy things when you're drunk, blacked out or not.
I don't think I do it anymore because my body is bigger than it used to be. Maybe you do or don't metabolize the alcohol as quickly as the others. I'm not sure which way causes the blacking out.

Your friends are lying bastards, because they know they did something embarrassing and want to play it off and blame it on alcohol, I also have not blacked out, and I have been blitzed out of my skull so many damn times. But.... I do know people who have blacked out and awoke on a Mexican hooker narrowly missing their cruise ship, so it does happen and if you have good friends you need not worry about this.

Some people will drink to the point that they blackout. You haven't reached that point yet. People tend to blackout more drinking hard liquor than beer or wine. I would hope your parents care.

i'm one of those people who gets too drunk. it's called blacking out. just b/c you don't black out doesn't really mean anything, you should actually be happy! i hate not knowing what happened. you're just not getting as drunk as they are, but please don't try to. be happy that you're with friends and that should be enough.

its good you dont have blackouts because if you have blackouts that means you have a high tolerance (newbies to drinking can not have blackouts and if they say they do they are lying)
