maybe, maybe not...depends on how much you trust her, i mean if she says she's checking her mails then she is..sometimes a have to give people a chance, don't always jump to conclusions like that...just be patient or when she finally answers you ignore her for 2 minutes.but whatever u do don't tell her you're checking your mail cause she'll be right (in her eyes), that it does take long to reply when you are checking your mail.if she really is talking to another guy and you take long to reply then u tell her you're checking your mail she might think you're talking to other girls, look for the clues in the way she puts herself over.

It may take her time to send the response back and to type it up. I don't think you gave us the entire situation how well do you know the lady? You should have an opportunity to talk to her in person or do you only talk to her on computer? How do you talk messenger or e-mail? It all depends . Do your responses get to her right away or doe's it take a min or two? She may be talking to someone else but is she not allowed too? I don't have a answer just more questions. Sorry !!

You really don't seem to have any proof other than she takes a minute or two. I think you are letting your thoughts run away with you. I IM my boyfriend, search the web, and check mail all at the same time. Good luck!

Maybe she is talking to others. She's allowed to speak to as many other people as she desires. What's the issue?
People try to chat with me while I'm on Answers sometimes, so they get back slow replies from me.

Maybe she doesn't type that fast. But, for all you know she could be talking to a girlfriend. You should not assume she is talking to a guy. But, even if she is nothing is wrong with being friends with the opposite sex.

You're 99% likely correct on your assumption. People rarely talk to one person at time on any chat program. That's the reason for it...and women are very sociable and like to talk to multiple people at one time.
It appears you're jealous...if she's your girlfriend, then I can understand why. But if she's only a 'friend', then let her have her space as she has no reason to cater to you only.
