Clearly you are one of those people who only pick out the select bible verses that you want to apply. The bible is full of contradictions, in some places advocating violence against "sinners" and in others preaching love and forgiveness, saying that only those without sin can condemn. Just one of the many reasons I don't believe in the bible.

So long as you are absolutely right and the other is absolutely wrong.

Jesus said to remove the plank in your eye before removing the spec in the other's eye.

There's a difference with correcting a brother in error and be down right nasty about it.

Additionally, you are to approach that person in private and talk it out in love.

Because so many Christians see that as a license to nitpick and put down anyone else, regardless as to why. It is not the place of any Christian to judge another, much less a non-Christian, at least in terms of spiritual beliefs.

Yeah, but it says nothing about reproving, rebuking, and exhorting non-Christians, does it?

Nothing I hate more than being scolded for an imaginary lifestyle violation.

by your words.... reprove, rebuke, and exhort ONE ANOTHER...... why is it you think you have the right to do it to us.... if you chose to live blind with your head in the sand then don't go around thinking we want ours there.... you live in hatred and prejudice.... that you are commanded to keep each other blind isn't our idea of intelligent reasoning.... wanting proof is not stupid but blindly bullying your way into believing lies for the sake of a religion is.

I give you the same rights as anyone who would say the writings of the Marquis De Sade are literally the absolute truth and everyone must follow them.

I take your words and claims with a grain of salt then spit them out.

The point is WE don't judge. The Bible clearly tells what is acceptable to God or not. We simply tell what the Bible says as we should.

EXCELLENT point, Cee T! I think non-believers use that judgmental thing against Christians because they don't like looking in the mirror at their own sins. Or they just don't give sin a thought because they figure it only applies to believers.

God's Word, however, tells us that Christians will NOT be judged, for we are sanctified in Christ.

Because judgmental Christians leave no room for anyone else to debate... they automatically dismis any arguments from anyone else as "the ravings of a heathen who has not found christ yet"

Do you people even go so far as to think that there are people who do not follow your senseless little book?

Those of us that get pissed off at you and shun you or even go so far as to threaten bodily harm if you don't gtfo of our way when you're harassing us DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR RELIGION. I don't know how to make this clearer. You may be forced to preach something, but we do not have to listen to it-and the majority of us do not WANT to listen to it.
