That should help a lot. I would also take Claritin D (or a generic equivalent.) It works for me and I'm a lifelong sinus sufferer. I've been to the sinus doctor more than a few times.

I use to get real bad sinus infections every year as I have bad allergy's.That is until I read somewhere that garlic or the tablets help with infections.I started taking 500 mg tablets every other day several years ago and haven't had any infections since.I for one hate taking medicine's of any kind so this was the way for me.Good luck to you.

I've found that Mucinex really works when I have a bad sinus infection. It's sold over the counter and it really breaks up the snot (sorry) that's stuck in your sinuses. Be sure to take it with a full glass of water. And finish your antibiotics as well. Mucinex may give you some relief.

If you've seen a doctor and the pills came from them, then you're good to go. Take Tylenol for the pain and drink LOTS of fluids, and try to sleep. Usually you'll start to feel better after 24 hours on the pills. If you're hungry have some chicken soup, it really does help.

Also, you can get these tablets at the drug store (I think they're made by Halls) that you put in the bottom of a hot shower and they release menthol scents into your hot steam. Just stand in there and breathe it in - it really opens up your sinuses.

I believe that inhalers with eucalyptus works well. spraying your nose with (baby sprays with salty water - forgot the name) and hot tea with honey and lemon.
