Breast feeding mom's are advised not to eat MSG in their food. Infants upto one year old should not be allowed MSG. Wait for one year atleast after which you can start eating your loved food.

Ajinomoto is a Japanese company that manufactures MSG, which I believe is what you are talking about. I think you will be fine, it's never been proven to be bad for you, I think it is a by product of soy sauce production. I think it is about as bad for you as aspartame, artificial sweetner in diet soda. I wouldn't be too paranoid about it. I love Japanese food and the pre packaged stuff usually has MSG in it, but I don't eat it all the time so I don't worry about it.

ajinnmoto is MSG... There is no real evidence that it affects the fetus so it's up to you and your doctor.
If you eat canned foods such as soups, tomato sauces, chips... then you're getting msg that way.

This is your baby you're talking about. Don't ask us bozos, ask your ob/gyn or the baby's pediatrician if MSG is all right.
