I think the story came from the Westword, it was about lightning striking people in Colorado.

No he was just probably ignoring my warning that we should get off the course already. So many people are ignorant about safety in a storm situation it's not funny, then there are those who just can't not finish their 18 holes. Not me... thunder rumbles within so many miles of me, I'm outta there. My golf game isn't so golden that I'll defy the laws of negative and positive charges in the atmosphere.

It's been my experience that all golfers participate in the Blasphemy Challenge on a more-or-less continuous basis...

Maybe so...my brother lives in Denver CO. and has told me the same thing...he has witnessed it...He is there usually on the weekends to golf...and it has happened while he was there twice...one person was
killed and the other just blew the bottom of his shoes off...I think its a good place to stay away from...

I don't believe in God but that fact that most people who are killed by lightning are golfers suggests I might be wrong.
