The "sexual freedom" movement started in the late '60's by atheists and jews certainly resulted in a pervasive increase in promiscuity. Isn't this what led to AIDS spreading like wildfire? Obviously promiscuity doesn't cause AIDS - but it certainly spreads it. Even with gay couples,if they are free of it and momogamous, they are not at risk. In the the final analysis, isn't the spread of this apppalling epidemic and it's death toll a direct consequence of atheists and secular jews and their allegedly "progressive" ideas about what they call healthy sexuality?
If so healthy, why has it caused millions of unneccessary deaths?

I half-agree with Mr. Kelly. You can't blame the emergence of AIDS on the global explosion of free-love advocacy in the 70's but it's rapid proliferation was certainly at least partly due to the new atmosphere of premarital sex as a social norm. Definitely,it doesn't help. Somebody wondered why you brought in Jews. I remember that era and of all the big media-favorites figures pushing "the sexual revolution" ,at least half of them were jewish. The whole thing was in fact heavily promoted by Jews and atheists to about an equal extent,I would say. But when you consider jews are only 2% of the population, their very dominant presence in that movement was very obvious and indeed somewhat commented upon. They definitely played a major role.

Hello Grendel,

From what I have read, AIDS has been around for quite a while but was always misdiagnosed as something else. It used to be called the slim disease in Africa and deaths may have been chalked up to the usually parasites or ugly crispy critters.

There was a exhumation of a British sailor a few years back who had died mysteriously in 1957 (not in article below) and they figured AIDS was the culprit. Anyway prior to the jet age, there was far less overseas travel to exotic areas as there is today and perhaps this new mode of getting around the world really picked chances for more contact up; that in combination with the free love movement may have not been the be all and end all for AIDS proliferation but it certainly didn't help matters either.

Cheers,

Michael

It did, come to think of it. That movement started in the late '60's and zoomed right throw the whole '70s. AIDS starts showing up around '79,I think. The sexual freedom movement didn't cause aids but it's rapid spread - and an upsurge in vd - are/were obvious byproducts of free love.

Really? AIDS came on the heels of the Gay Pride movement of the late seventies. It was the crazy, cocaine, speed, and amyl nitrate/room deoderizer, promiscuous bathhouses of San Francisco and New York clubs that caused AIDS.

What epidemic? What wildfire? Do you know regular straight people that have AIDS? AIDS has never left the original risk groups. The story of heterosexual AIDS or an epidemic is a myth.

Ever heard of syphillis? That sexually transmitted disease has been plaguing civilization for hundreds of years. And by the way, men have ALWAYS been sexually liberated. Men were free to have mistresses or visit prostitutes. It was the wives who had to stay at home and be chaste. And they still got syphillis from their husbands. Women are just behaving the way men have been for thousands of years. And we have every right to. I don't think Jews and atheists are responsible for diseases. Ignorance and poverty are responsible, not groups of people.

Seems like I first heard about it around 1983 maybe?
And everyone was afraid to even touch a public water fountain!
I'm afraid I have no idea where Jews fit into your subject matter.
Oh, don't bother everyone with numbers and facts, if it's not convenient for them well, -you must be making it up.

Nobody uses the term 'Free Love movement' any more. The whole thing was over way before AIDS came along.

Interesting. That must be why the overwhelming majority of AIDS patients in the US are Christian.

I won't even warrant this with an answer because I figure someone will report you (it won't be me). Why do you feel it necessary to be an uneducated bigot? It serves you no purpose and makes good Christians look bad. Go ahead and report me, I'm in no mood for people like you right now.
