my car was repossessed sunday morning. i got it back tuesday. will they still post that to my credit as a repossession?

Auto finance is what I do for a living and unless they agreed in writing not to post this as a repossession then it will show up as a "redeemed repossession".

While this is not near as bad as a straight repossession, it is still bad and will remain on your credit for 7-years.

It was posted as a repo the minute they filed the paperwork to repo it, so actually it is on there. It might be stated as satisfied but is there.

most likely, creditors are more anxious to post negative than positive credit.
