Do you think true Christians hate you?

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil;

True Christians do not hate you but love you and would love to see you surrender your life to God. Christians have to hate the evil acts you do. This does not mean we do not care for you. We trully care for your salvation.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8

If someone claims to not love you they do not know God. For God is love.

Well, I do know there is One here that does because they told me so...they didn't like the way I talked or answered my answers,
this person attacked and judged me...which they had NO right to do...NOW they are waiting for ME to apologize to them...
I am a Christian...and this behavior I have witnessed bothers me...how exactly does this person feel justified to do this to me..??
Its just NOT right.

i hate the "true christian " argument. it is simply a cop=out for all of the horrible things that the christian church has done in the past.

it is easy to feel all warm and fuzzy when you can simply say.

I know that the (insert human rights violation here) happened, but they were not true Christians that did it.

the Christian Church has been the biggest opposition to every civil and human rights issue for the last 200 years. and quite possibly long before then.

slavery,
segregation.
women's rights.
homosexual rights.
freedom of religion.

in every case there was some preacher (or group of) telling the world how evil it was to treat these minority people fairly.

then we go back a little further and we have the Crusades. the Witch Burnings. the destruction of the Native American cultrue and the theft of their land (all done for god and country there)

i guess it is easier to say "they were not ture Christians" than it is to say "my church did some bad things in the past, but I am working to change that for the future."

We will be surprised to see who is "real" I i think that word needs to be examined by each and every individual....what is real to you? The Lord God and guess what people....WE ALL that claim to know God, a Christian..is a part of the body.

Now if my child sins it is my duty/God given right to correct him, because sin is death...I want him to live!
Just like anyone else, I don't care who you are what you've done/doing...I want you to know that there is a loving God that can heal your hurts and bring you out of WHAT EVER your in! But they need to be told they are loved, because of lack of love 'usually' that is how they ended up in a situation to begin with! Correction with love, for love. But the hard cases out there, you may have to be blunt but in the end, it is because we love people, we were told to, I wasn't told to like them, I don't have to be there friend to love them, I just see them as God's creations, hopefully they will become a child of God instead of a child of the world.

I know athiests that claim they are hated by us, but they just dont understand. God calls us to hate sin, but not the sinners. He calls us to warn the world about the devil and the effects of sin. We are to love the sinner, but hate their sin and to warn them, therefore that is why we speak, becaseu GOd loves them and so do we IF a Christian saw you in sin and didnt tell you they wouldnt really be a Chrisitan, nor would that be love> God is love.............

I have more of a problem with the self-righteous types who proclaim that they and they alone are the only "true" type of Christian, and that anyone who does not believe and behave EXACTLY the same way they do is not a "true Christian".

Small wonder, then, that we have thousands upon thousands of Protestant denominations after only having been around a few hundred years, with new ones born every day, and each one calling itself the only "true" form of Christianity.

Even those that claim to be loving Christians spew hate to those that are have truly been saved with the blood of Jesus. Now that I do not understand.

according to probability because of fact real Christians have self belief every person else merits to- or a minimum of will- burn in hell for eternity, notwithstanding in the event that they are form and great. and no one immediately follows God's be conscious- you do not homicide or rape, as accepted and condoned in the bible. it is not notwithstanding in case you hate or not - it is that the entire doctrine of the ideals is abhorrent. i don't desire to offend you. i'm particular you're a great guy or woman and all, yet faith has a tendency to blind people to the reality of the international. EDIT - ought to factor out i don't hate YOU, or the different Christian. I hate the sexist, manipulative, bigoted and racist propaganda you sense you're able to desire to be a stable guy or woman. you're a stable guy or woman inspite of faith. in case you're able to desire to have self belief some thing, have self belief in your self.
