Someone's height does not mean they can protect you. The guy can be 6'5 and total wimp same goes for short guys. It just depends on the person. I am 5'3 and for some reason all of my life people have told me that I am intimidating. Little old 5'3 me is intimidating. I don't really get it. I think it is in the way someone carries themselves. If you truly love some one regardless of height, weights etc... if you love them then those things should not matter. Someone picking on someone for being short is usually in high school. If you are an adult and still picking on people, well that person has some growing up to do. I have never had a problem in a public place with a date or girl friend because of my height. I have been in a few fights because guys started to grab the women I was with. Don't underestimate the little guy he just might kick your butt I have done it. I am sure some people see it as having little man syndrome but I do not fight unless it is the last option.

I'm 5.6" tall and my short stature had always been an impediment for achieving poise and self-confidence. It was about two years ago that I met my wife and we almost instantly made connection. She is about half an inch shorter than me but I would always feel a little insecure whenever she wore sandals. This would make her look much taller than myself. Not that anything wrong with that but society collectively feeds us with some stereotypes and a guy shorter than a woman would always raise eyebrows. My wife (who back then was my girlfriend) was conscious of myself being a little uneasy. She started coaching me on improving my dress coordination and also suggested that I should try wearing those walktall shoes. Doing a little research myself I gathered some info on stretching exercises. Although it’s true that exercises will not make you grow taller but it definitely helped me improve my posture. We certainly have more height hidden behind our slouched back and shabby dressing than we ever realize. There are some very basic stretching exercises and vertical fashion techniques that together can make a noticeable improvement in your height. And lastly it’s all a matter of perception. It all boils down to how we perceive ourselves. A better height can add to our confidence, but again, it’s our mind that perhaps makes us insecure. Some short dudes possess endless energy that makes their presence much taller than their height. You can follow the link below to get more info on posture exercises and some basic visual height enhancement techniques:

I am both short and in a wheelchair majority of the time. My wife is approximately 5' 7" and so obviously is taller then me when I am in my chair. She tells me that in her eyes I am 10' tall and I honestly believe her. Am I confident with my height most certainly. Do my friends and/or others judge me by my height, not if they are real friends. Have I had success with females throughout my life, very much so. After all it's what's inside us that counts not how many people we stand over that defines who we are. If you feel comfortable going out with a shorter male I say go for it, you just might learn something valuable and have a super relationship possibly also.

well if you like someone, should it matter how tall they are? i find some short guys attractive...but u sound more embarrassed then unsure.im sure "shorter" guys can protect u jus as much as a "taller" guy could.. but i do have to admit that i would be embarrassed to walk around in public with a shorter guy knoing that other people are looking at us!! but all i can say is do what u feel is right!! follow your heart!! hope everything works out!! :-)

Is not the body size is what that body have inside.Personality,be charming,be smart,be open,be genius, be a winner,be a lider among other staff is what matters.Napoleon was short.Hither was short.Cicero was short.See, the height some times is divorce from the brain capacity. In the end, does not matter at all.

Im not short just average but im a lot thinner than most people but nobody bothers me and they respect me. Its all about how confident he is and how he carries himself. If he walks around like he thinks everybody in sight can kick his butt then he won't get any respect. If he walks around like he's the one that will do the kicking if anything gets started then he will get respect. Don't be cocky that makes people dislike you.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
Go out with whomever you want. Find a short guy who knows karate.

Some reason you seem to think tall guy = good fighter. There are plenty of short or average sized guys who can knock the teeth out of giants.
