I am Italian and I would love to know what my language sounds like to foreigners.

Italian is the prettiest sounding language I know. The succession of vowels and consonants, added with the harmonic tone variations are a delight.

Well im an American but my grandparents were from Italy so I got to hear it alot as a kid ( when my grandparents would argue at home they would speak italian when the conversation got a little heated hehe )
And of course I would have them teach me words.
I like the language and wish I knew it well.
Even though many of the words are the same as Spanish it has a distinctive sound.

To me it sounds very warm, rapid and full of temperament, if you know what I mean, a very interesting language. Understand some of it as I speak Spanish (not my native language, understand you don´t like each other so much Italians and Spaniards, but that´s not the issue here). Anyway I like Italian.

It sounds a bit like South American Spanish (not the lispy 'th' sound of Spain.)It is a lovely language spoilt only by English people trying to speak it with their horrid diphthongs eg
Prontow instead of Pronto.

hey i'm from malta!

Here we treat itallian as a 2nd language and we're proud. Itallian is one of the most romantic languages. It shows passion, grace and a flowing feeling as soon as the words escape ur mouth. It sounds passionate and way cool!
