ok so I was talking to my dad last night and we were talking about me dating. And he said I think your going to marry someone who is a couple years older than you. And I asked him, do you know who I'm supposed to marry. And he just smiled at me. So I know that he knows who it is. And my brother was with us and he said hey it's Jason isn't it! my dad just sat there and smiled again. And said, I'm not telling. So about Jason, he has brown hair, blue eyes. and he is so cute, and the best part is that he's a christian. but the thing is he's like 18 or 19 and I'll be turning 14 very soon. But I have this friend that lives in Michigan and her name is Alissa, and our youth group went there for camp and I couldn't go because of a family thing, and i went on myspace and went on her thing and her and two of her friends Hannah, and Lauren were all muddy so they wrote the names of the boys they like on ther tummys and Jason was one of them & he said I wish I could be there.

that's why I put the title as Christians because God told my dad! You would have to be a christian to understand.

So your question is if you should pursue this guy? Well, most guys would like to be in a place where muddy girls write their names on their bodies and show it off. But if you like him, go for it! And the best part is that you have your dad's blessing. That's a good thing! Good luck!

Honey, you've got a long way to go before you need to think about marriage. As for your dad, he has no clue who you will marry. Enjoy your teen years, get a good education and take your time.

Whats the problem. I really dont see the problem. You didnt ask a question. Was the question do you think he likes you. Yes i do. Was the question if he proposed should you accept. I dont know follow your heart. Only god knows who you will end up with and how it ends up. Not your dad or brother.

so what's your question? right now, he's too old for you. if you're 13 and he's 19, that's rediculous. at this time 6 years is a lot, but when it's time for you to get married it won't be. like if you're 23 and he's 29 or something. but why are you seriously thinking about marriage now anyways?

This isn't some arranged marriage is it?

I'm worried.

Your not even 14 yet so don't worry about marriage for another 15 years!

Trust me....your dad was not insinuating anything with this older guy. A dad wants to protect his daughter as long as possible. I would shudder if I truly though he was pimping you out to someone else.

your a 13 yr old girl and your dad is letting you date a GROWN MAN???? sorry...are you a Mormon?

God can speak to anyone. not just Christian's. it's up to that individual to listen to God. you have no right saying that. you should study the bible more.
