I'm turning 21 next weekend and I'm having a party the following weekend.

Since it's a -21st- birthday party, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of drinking games we could do.
I'm already kinda planning on I Never (kinda like an icebreaker, lol), Waterfall/Kings and maybe Drinking Jenja. But other than that, I can't really think of much.

Maybe drinking family guy or some other show?

Not a whole lot of people, probably about 8-15 tops.

I have no idea what the name of this is, but we played it in college a lot.

One person picks a category at random, like "Celebrities". They name someone like Marilyn Monroe. The next person has to name someone whose first name starts with the last letter. So that's "e", so that person could say Errol Flynn. Then next person gets an "n". And so on. If anyone can't think of anything in 10 seconds, they chug. Then they get to pick the next category, like animals or something.

It sounds a little boring, but it's really a lot of fun watching people struggle with words and thinking while getting drunk. Oh, and there can't be any repeats in a round or you have to drink.

Kings always gets my friends trashed.

theres two ways that I play

the set up is always the same, scatter the cards around a large cup face down, kind of like go fish. everyone takes turns picking cards,

cards 2-8 if it's red you take that many drinks, if it's black you pass out that many to whomever you wish
for the face cards Ace-King you make up rules(for example, truth or dare, tell a joke if its not funny take a drink, the rhyme game-you pick a word and go around the table rhyming with that word, whoever cant rhyme has to drink, take a shot etc.) most people don't like that because they arn't creative but just give it a try its alot of fun,use your imagination. These rules stay with that card for the remainder of the game, it's always good to write them down because people tend to forget after a while of drinking.

The kings card is always for the kings cup whenever you get a king card you pour whatever your drinking into the cup and whoever gets the last king has to drink the cup, they dont have to chug it unless you're hardcore) make sure you dont mix drinks in the cup, thats gross. try to keep it like beer or something simple.

The other way I play is you just make up the rules as you go along for all the cards except kings, that way everyone gets to make up a rule and it's total drunken fun,but like i said before most people don't like to make up rules.

happy birthday! be safe, and i hope this helped.

The one I always wanted to try is the take "take a drink when" game while watching a movie, and drink to The Boondock Saints, and take a drink every time they say "F***". Should be fun!

"I never" is a fun game - and you learn a lot about your friends in the process. Here's how it works...everyone takes a turn and tells everyone else something they've never done. ("I've never done it in public") . Everyone in the room who HAS done that thing has to take a drink. It's interesting the things I've learned about my friends playing this! :)

*Ring of Fire - A.K.A. Sociables*
1-2 Decks of cards; depending on the amount of players.
Table and chairs for the players.
Lots of Beers in a cooler beside the table. (Recommended)
Pen and paper to write down the rules. (Also recommended)

It seems that there are a ton of rules for this game and I would just like to throw them down and if anyone has anything to add feel free to cut and paste out this page and add them to their own.

~ Rules are to be assigned to a card and the cards placed face down on the table. A person then pulls a card and the corresponding rule is then played. Cards may or may not be placed around a beer or shot and at the end of each turn the player must place the card a top said beeror shot. The person who knocks the cards off must finish the drink. (Works best with a tall bottle of beer) Some common rules are...~

or

3 man:

2 dice and as many people as you want... you can play with beer OR every drink counts as a shot of hard...

At the beginning of the game everyone takes a turn rolling the die. The first person to roll a three is the three man. Then the games start with the person to the left of him/her. Then that person rolls until his turn is over and so on and so on.
The rules are a bit complicated but once you get the hang its a lot of fun,
ok here are the rules...

a drink is 1 swallow (unless you are hardcore then it is as many as you want)

roll doubles = you pass the dice to 1 or 2 people now u can make them drink the number on the dice or roll them to try to get them a higher number. if that person/persons rolls doubles its twice the number back on u.

roll double 3 = u are now the 3 man your turn is over

roll a 1 and 2 combo = this is called three the hard way the 3 man drinks twice rolls and on top of that drinks the number showing.

roll an 11 = this is a social everyone drinks

if your roll adds up to 7 = the person to your right drinks

if your roll adds up to 9 = the person to your left drinks

if the 3 man rolls double threes’ = the 3 man gets to pick a new three man (someone else…)

any time a 3 is showing 3 man has to drink and the person rolling continues to roll

the person rolling gets to keep rolling as long as someone has to drink…

Civil War:

2 teams of 3 people
18 cups + 2 water cups
3 ping pong balls
beer

There are two teams of three people. Teams line up on opposing sides of the beerpong table. Each person sets up a three cup triangle in front of them w/beer.

Play is similar to beerpong. There are three balls in play. The shooting is rapid fire. As soon as a missed ball comes to you, you can shoot it right back. Players can shoot as often or as little as they want, an can pass the ball off to a teammate if they wish (but that's no fun...).

You can shoot at any opposing player's cup. If you sink an opponent's cup, that player can't shoot again until he/she is finished drinking the cup. If all three of a player's cups are sunk, he/she is out and can't shoot anymore. Once all three players on a team are eliminated, the opposing team wins. The winning team starts out with all three balls in the next game.

or

Ultimate Quarters:

Very large glass, Medium sized glass and a shot glass. And of course a quarter.

First you put the shot glass in the very large glass and then set up the smaller glass in front of the big glass. Fill the smaller glass half way full. If you make the quarter in the smaller glass you have to drink it. If you make the quarter in the large glass without it going in the shot glass, you can give it to anyone you want. If the quarter happens to go in the shot glass then you fill the smaller glass all the way up and give it to anyone you want. You play this game for an hour and you are guaranteed to be ****** up.

Ring of fire the good version:

1/2 Pack of cards - depending on amount of people playing
Drinks for everyone
1 pint glass

Basically it starts that everyone must have their own drink, then in the centre of the table the pint glass must be placed and the cards spread in a circle around the glass, each player takes it in turn to take a card the cards indicate...

Ace – Waterfall
This card means that everyone must start drinking at the same time but you can not finish drinking till the person right of you stops, the person to pick the card stops first

2 - Two swigs whoever gets the drink

3 - Everyone drinks for 3 seconds

4 - (For whores)
Girls must all drink for 4 seconds

5 - Everyone drinks for 5 seconds

6 - (For *****)
Guys must all drink for 6 seconds

7 – Rule card.
Make up a rule that must be followed throughout the game…Good ones include little green man/ 1 hand on head/ link arms ect

8 - Dare card

9 - Rhyme
Person to get this card starts a rhyme each person in turn must rhyme it if you cannot it is a 9 second drink.

10 – Piss card
Basically you need this to go to the loo or penalty of 10 second/finish drink

Jack - Send it back
The card played preciously must be played again unless is a 10 then another picked

Queen - Be mean
You can treat someone mean however you like… drink/clothes/other related

King - Cup
Each person to get a king must fill the pint glass a 3rd full from their drink, the person to get the 4th and last king card must drink the contents of the King Cup

ENJOY AND BE SAFE!

I don't have a clue what those cocktails are you listed. Maybe it's a cultural thing. Anyways, yes I have been to the 1st answers site a long time ago and it has some decent party gigs. Be responsible when you drink please.
