Not very often--way too many nitrates and salt in deli meats, even the turkey kind.

Cat food is designed for the whole cat's body, it should be their main food staple. Treats can occasionally be given if you don't mind your cat yelling for them a lot (hey, you trained them to ask for it!) but be careful what you give. Small bits of cooked meat without salt or pepper is nice for a treat. We'd be talking less than a half tablespoon of those though.

Sliced Deli turkey would be fine to give your cat. However, do not give them a whole slice, just tear off pieces of it and feed it to them. And don't give them too much.

My cat BJ has to check out anything I am eating and if I am eating a turkey sandwich she will start licking the turkey so I tear off a piece (of a slice) and give it to her. She loves it. It is kind of like a treat for her.

Ignore some of the nasty postings, some people need a real life,

anyway, cats as pets, need cat food, my dads cat loves 9 lives super supper........save the turkey slices for people sandwiches.....preferably toasted wheat bread, thin slices of tomato and sweet onion and lots of mayo, (yes miracle whip is the best flavor on turkey!!!) S. T. from ohio

Absolutely, and love it! Cats shouldn't eat a lot of the rich foods we eat though. Over time it can make them very ill. A treat of deli turkey once in a while won't hurt!

They'll eat pretty much anything, so yes. But only as a once-in-a-while treat, don't make a habit of it. That's damn good turkey, lol.

Feed them cat food instead.

Not sure about that, but I have seen a turkey eat a thinly sliced cat before.
