At the walmart I go to (by St Louis, MO) milk was alittle over 4.00 a gal last week. I have 2 little kiddos that love milk, I ought to buy stock in milk.

Where do you live? Our Walmart milk is at $3.50 a gallon, still high enough but not as bad as yours. It probably has something to do with the cost of gas affecting shipping prices.

Whenever gas goes up in price milk usually follows. Milk's about $4.00 here in some parts of Wisconsin.

In TX, the only milk that is $6/gal at Wal-Mart is the no hormones no antibiotics grain fed milk.

In London it is about 80pence $1.60 for four pints, that would be $3.20 per gallon. That sounds pretty cheap. I think at $6.60 you are being ripped of. Shop elsewhere...

They blame the high gasoline prices on everything else, even the high price of milk. I don't drink the junk.......

Good question, I wish that I knew the answer! I live in Alabama and it isn't quite that high here, about $4.39 and that is outrageous!!!!!!
