your neck has ever been? Too many people come on here and use that term as if it's deragatory or something. Even though I'm from the midwest (Iowa, South Dakota and Wisconsin) there is no doubt in my mind I'm a redneck and I'm PROUD of it. The reddest my neck has ever been is the summer I was 15 I had a job trimming Christmas trees. Most of them where small enough that you be looking down as you shaped the tree with a machete and then you had to cut off the lead cord (center branch coming out the top) at about 8" or so. By the end of the summer the back of my neck peeled in a thick brown layer and the exposed skin underneath was between red and pink. That's the reddest my neck has EVER been. So how about you? Say it loud and proud!

This one's just for fun. Maybe we'll get a good story or 2, maybe I'll get reported? I'm just trying to take back the term and not have it mean anything bad about race fans or anyone else that's been labeled as one.

I too am from Texas and the very southwest part so that term is not used too often her! LOL

But the reddest my neck has every been was when I was 15 years old, I had always had long hair so when I chopped it all off for that great 80's fashion it never dawned on me to put sunscreen there. Well needless to say 4 hours at a swim party in 114 degree summer afternoon and I've never forgotten that part of my body again!!!

I'm from the deep deep south,San Diego Ca. But I applied for and was granted full "redneck" status. All I had to do was put God,Family and Country first and I was allowed in,what I saw once inside, was a whole bunch of Nascar fans,so I picked a driver and have been a card carrying 'neck for 15 years.

I'm starring this one! Hilarious! I swear, every summer my neck gets redder! We have a family fishing trip every summer and I just never learn that I need to put sun screen on my neck! This year, it spread from the back of my neck all the way to the top of my ears!! I blistered and peeled not once, not twice but three times!! I think next summer may be the one I finally put sun screen on!

The reddest my neck has ever been, was when I was playing Frisbee with my Nephews and ran into the clothes line right at throat level ! First it was red, then when the bruising set in it went into all the other pretty colors, purple, blue, green, yellow............

Try and explain that one at work !!!

Well growing up on a ranch chopping thistles and fixing fence all spring and summer long, my whole body was red and then you would have thought I was from Africa because at the end of the summer I was really dark and tan!!! If liking NASCAR somehow makes me a redneck then whatever I guess I am one!!!
