As long as you can control your vehicle you shouldn't have any problems. I've heard of people driving with their feet. I've seen people driving while talking on a cell phone, putting on make-up, shaving, looking at a map, reading a newspaper, reading a book, having sex, etc. So what's a little broken arm!!!

I have done this. I broke my left arm over a year ago and drove around for a day before going to the hospital that evening. I was very cautious and made sure to keep my speed low enough for me to have full control. The only bad thing about it was having to stretch my right hand over to change gear.
However, when I was leaving the hospital later that day I was told that legally I am not insured to drive if I have my arm in a cast. That 's how it is in Ireland anyway. Not sure about other countries

If you drive a standard transmission, it is illegal, but, if it doesn't interfere with the safe operation of an automatic transmission, it isn't. The bottom line is the safe operation. It will be awkward with a broken arm, mind you.

You would be the first to get a ticket for this. There are no laws on the books that state you can not drive with a broken arm.Hope this helps.

It's not illegal. There are plenty of drivers with only one arm who can drive quite safely. Generally you'd be limited to an automatic transmission but that's about it.

People do it all the time...I don't know how they can make it illegal for someone to do such a thing. As long as you can steer, back out, use turn signal , etc,. just fine....GO FOR IT!
Just be glad you aren't driving a stick shift !!!! : p
