I do believe in God I'm just wondering why there aren't any dinosaurs in the Bible when there's proof that they existed.

Because they died out before man came along. We only know about them because of the bones we've dug up.

There are. Genesis1 the wates brought forth great creatures (dinosaurs) & in Job there is the Leviathon (fire breathing water dragon) & the Behemoth (has the tail of a cedar & can swallow up th river).

And People shouldn't forget the big red dragon whose tail swiped 1/3 of the Angels out of heaven. Revelation.

All you have to do is a search on the word search on 'dragon' in ones Strongs Exhaustive. That is what I did. I recall the taneem is the great beast that the waters brought forth. And that is a dinosaur, serpent, dragon, monster or whale. Genesis 1:21a & Job7:12. Job40:15-24 is the Behemoth, Job41 the Leviathon. Rev.12,13, 16,20:2 dragon is drakon in greek; Ps91:13; Isa27:1,51:9; Jer51:9; Jer51:34; actually dragon's) are written in more verses & this is the dragon that is 'taneem' in Hebrew. And the waters brought forth the taneem (geat creatures).

There wasn't proof that they existed when the Bible was written. Dinosaurs weren't unearthed until much later. The authors of the Bible would not have known about them because they didn't have the fossil records we have now.

Because they were extinct before people existed. Duh.

Evolution-denying loonies claim that 'dragons' in the Bible were really dinosaurs although the Bible also has them breathing out fire. They might also point to a sea monster called 'Leviathan' similar to creatures that are still alleged by superstitious seamen to exist today, and an unspecified creature called 'Behemoth' which could be any large animal.

Some Christians think there are, but the word "dinosaur" is substituted with the word "dragon". This could be true because the word dinosaur wasn't created until 1841 by an Englishman named Richard Owen.
If you believe in evolution then the answer is simple, there were no dinosaurs when man began to appear.

There are. The term "dinosaur" wasn't coined until the 1600s. There are a couple of dinosaurs talked about in the book of Job. Behemoth and Leviathan. Read the descriptions and it's pretty obvious they're dinosaurs.

Many, if not most animals are not named in the Bible. So why does the exclusion of dinosaurs cause you special concern!?

Because the mortal men that wrote the Bible were not aware of dinosaurs at the time.

In the account where Jonah is swallowed, the bible says it was a fish that swallowed him not a whale. There is also another account involving Abraham but I can't remember where in the bible it is. I'll search www.biblegateway.com.

B/c the Bible is a compilation of events which were written in the view of men who had no reason to attempt archeology and therefore lacking in several truths.
