This is one of the world's most posed questions.
God is eternal, He had no beginning and will have no end.
God didn't say anything about other planets and solar systems, so speculating about them is rather pointless. Plus, if God didn't mention it, it's probably not important.
"idk, just confuses me."
I'm not sure what "idk" means, but it confuses everyone. The human mind cannot conceive the idea of eternity of pre-existence.

We don't know what He did... I suppose He could have done anything. He is beyond our comprehension. Maybe time didn't even exist an eternity ago... either way, the beginning is always beyond our common sense (which all reasoning and math come from).
Was there a beginning of time? Then what was it like when there was no time? Then how did time come to be? If there wasn't a beginning, are there infinite years behind us. If so, how did we get to this time? I can't think without a beginning. Also, how can there be infinite anything when:
x=0.9(repeating9)
*multiply by 10*
10x=9.9(re9)
*subtract x (remember, x=.9(re9))*
9x=9
*divide by 10*
x=1
but 1=/=.9(re9)
I don't know, none of it makes sense to me. Maybe there's some complex theory, but so far as I can see, no one can disprove God with science if they can't prove everything with science.
Great question. :)

God has always existed. There is no such thing as time with God. He can go from the day He created the earth to the Civil War to 9-11 in seconds. 2 Peter 3:8 - With the Lord, a day is like 1,000 years and 1,000 years are like a day. So, really, no one can answer that question.

That's actually an excellent question. I hope I can answer it sufficiently.
First of all, by very nature, God is defined as One who has had no beginning. In fact one of the many Biblical names for God indicates that He has within Himself sufficient Cause for His own existence without any prior cause.
If He DID have a beginning, then He would no longer qualify as God, and then you have to ask who created God, and then, who created God's creator, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. It's really begging the point.
In other words, God is the uncaused First Cause, the Uncreated Creator, the "I AM THAT I AM" (oh, by the way, the Hebrew word "I AM" can be translated into any tense - I was what I will be, I will be what I have been, I always have been ... - you get the drift. In other words, "Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, today, and forever".
As to what He was doing before He created this universe, I'll ask Him when I get to heaven. Will YOU be there?
To be sure about this, just ask Jesus Christ to forgive you for all your sins (i.e. breaking God's Laws, such as the 10 commandments), because when He died, it was to pay the penalty for OUR sins, since He never committed any, and He shed His blood as an atonement. (But He didn't stay dead. He rose from the grave the 3rd day). Then repent (or turn away from) your sins, and ask Him to be the Lord (boss) of your life.

This is pretty simple. God was and is and will be here. He is the creator of ONE and only ONE planet...Earth! And it is the only planet created.
If you are to understand this at all you must focus on the fact that God is infinite and we are finite. We cannot comprehend forever. Today starts and stops. We are born and we die. Everything in our world has a beginning and an end...not with God!
Get a copy of the bible and read Genesis and it will give you all the necessary information you need. It will help you to see the creative intent of God and his plan for man, and man's rejection of that plan. You will see how the earth was cursed and we now live in a cursed creation and how God has a plan to redeem the people of earth by faith in His Son Jesus Christ.
If you want further help on the creation issue alone please contact ICR. The Institute for Creation Research in El Cajon, CA. I believe it is icr.org, or com

God is the beginning and the end - He has always been here.
God doesn't say what He did before He created this earth but the way I see it is that the whole concept of Him always exsisting is such a huge idea that by Him telling us what He did before, we probably couldn't grasp smiply b/c we're human and He is God. But it will be a good question to ask Him when you get to heaven (if you have a personal relationship with Him-which I hope you do :).

I think this is a great question.
If you receive confrontational answers, it just demonstrates insecurity.
I actually believe this, and it is impossible to wrap your brain around it because our minds are limited by time and space. How can anyone comprehend eternity?
To get to your question, no one knows what God "did" before the earth's existence. Perhaps there were and are other worlds and perhaps there is another universe.
Who is to say definitively?
However, would it not be a beautiful concept that if God exists for eternity, past and present, and chose only one world of people to love and to provide an eternal paradise, that it would be this world in which you and I live?
This whole concept is a matter of faith, plain, simple, and yet complex.
Faith is the "substance of things we earnestly expect, the evidence of things we cannot see"

That's a good question! My personal belief, and I also believe this is Biblically accurate, is that God exists outside of time and space. In fact I believe he created our time & space bubble for us to live in, but outside of this bubble there was never any "eternity before" in the sense that we might think of it...as being a very long time.. There is no time, things just exist. God just exists. He doesn't require a maker or a beginning. But before you toss out the possibility of that, considering it nonsense, I'd like you to ask yourself where the universe as we know it came from if there is no God. Man's best guesses so far are: 1) In the beginning there was nothing, and then one day nothing exploded and that's how everything came to be... or 2) Everything has just always existed. Doesn't sound much better, does it? ;)

God didn`t need a beginning, He was always there.
We needed a beginning.
God is love. He wanted to love and so he created
His angels. His angels loved Him and would do anything for God. God gave his angels powers so
they could do things for God through God.
God still had love to give and so made man in His
own image and likeness. He knew man would go
wrong and made man anyway. Because God loves
mankind !!
Satan was an angel of God who decided he wanted to be god. Satan didn`t care that God loved him, he was jealous of God and His power.
God sent His angel to throw satan out of heaven where the angels live. Satan was sent to earth.
On earth, he decieves mankind by putting doubt about God into their minds. Doubt about what God
told man (the Word of God) and doubt about what
should be done (believing and praying for others)
And doubt that there even is a God and heaven.
Satan goes back to heaven almost daily to accuse
man so that God will curse man and satan will win
mans soul. That way, satan will be god over man.
God sent His Son, Jesus, to save mankind from
satan`s deceit, which is not doing what God said to
do (sin). To be saved, you must believe that Jesus
is the Son of God and that He died for your sins and won the victory over death and rose from the dead and went to heaven to be with His Father again. And then say it out loud.
When you believe that God is great enough to do
anything, you have faith in the Lord and many things can happen.
The devil doesn`t want you to have faith in God, so
he puts obstacles in your way. He gets into your
mind and puts questions in to confuse you. So
you ask these questions and get more confused or fights start. Instead of wondering about what
God did before he made you, wonder about how
glorious He is and how awesome he is to make
a human body or a rainbow and fill your heart with
love for Him

God has no form, God exists everywhere, God creates the beginning and controls the end result. Everyone who has met God says asking him what he has been doing with his time was the furthest question from their minds at the time, so its doubtful we will ever know. As for your confusion, trust what Jesus says, "God is Love", so what has love done when we are not with it?

He probably just makes universes for fun, and didnt think we'd be lonely with one all to ourselves. im so lonely. also, it says in the bible he made everything in 7 days. Whats up whith that?
