My husband works for a Christian radio station and we aren't avid church goers. The people he works with are constantly asking where we attend church, and when they find out we don't attend then they keep after us to attend church and completely put us on the spot

Yes, I think it's very rude. It's really no ones business if you go to church. And then on top of that ask you to attend church!

Some people have absolutely no class.

It's o.k. if people ask which church you attend. That is all right.

NOW, if they ask why and how come you don't attend church, that is none of their business, and their concern. You should just politely say thanks for your concern but we do attend on occasion. That's it.

I'm assuming they ask you because your husband works for a Christian station. Maybe they want the insider scoop or something. Who knows but just be polite. That's all.

In your husband's situation, no it's not rude. He does work at a Christian radio station. BUT, when they keep trying to get you to go to church, then that is rude. I've experienced that many times and I feel like saying "why is it your business whether or not Jesus is my Saviour?". Besides, wouldn't judging others that don't go to church be considered a sin? Aren't we supposed to love thy neighbor and not judge??

I guess it is rude but, it is a Christian radio station. I guess people who work for rap radio stations are expected to watch BET or people for rock radio stations are expected to go to rock concerts or people who work on a Hispanic radio station are supposed to speak Spanish. I guess it would just make since that a Christian radio station employee would go to church.

I guess it depends in what way they are asking (matter of fact or in a judgemental way). I don't think it's really rude, but I do thing it's kind of rude when people ask you if you have let Jesus into your heart and stuff like that.

It's not rude to ask if you attend church services. It is however, EXTREMELY rude to react badly and pressure you if they don't like the answer.

Very rude. It's none of their business! And I hate when people ask me.

It is as rude as asking your weight, age or how much you make. Change the subject. or ask them why they want to know that.

in that type of work, he should kind of expect those questions. it's as normal for them as" what did you make for dinner last night?". as for hounding him to attend services, that's wrong but, like i said, it has to do with his place of employment.

Yes it's rude and none of their business. Christians are notorious for being nosy.
