People think that you have to do some kind of special "routine" with weights and exercise equipment - you don't. Just go for a walk with your dog. Ride your bike down to the store. Every time you get up and go work in the yard, you're exercising. It doesn't matter if you have a "routine" or if you have expensive equipment or not - the important thing is to get up off the couch, and DO something. And that way you have the satisfaction of exercising and getting something done all at the same time! :)

There are numerous exercises you can do using your own body weight that will work wonders to get in shape. Try going to your local public library and looking up aerobic exercises or review books at a Barnes and Noble book store, its free to look, another way is to look up aerobic exercises on line. I would invest in an exercise band they are relitively cheap; I got mine at ross for 10 bucks, I am sure a walmart may have one. Dont spend money on a gym because many times people sign up for a gym and end up going only a few times. If you get serious about exercise then I would invest in a gym membership. Good luck.

The best exercise program doesn't cost a thing. Take a walk; jog; run;skip rope;shoot hoops. If you have a pool, swim. Ride a bike. Pull weeds; garden. Turn up the stereo and dance, dance, dance!!

Go into your bedroom and lock the door. Crank the stereo up and dance your heart out to it. Go crazy with it, jump on the bed, slide across the floor, act like you're at a concert, or singing the song yourself. Have fun with it like you did when you were a teenager. It's so much fun and no cost.

There are exercise programs on TV that are great. Also, sometimes I just walk, jog, skip or step in place for thirty minutes right in my living room/dining room. Doesn't cost a thing and you can look any way you want.

I enjoy just walking and regular stretches. Last Feb. I decided I need to do something about my weight and eating habits so I started walking and stretching. In about a month I noticed my clothes fitting better and my appitite changing. Another month later I had to buy new jeans! Find a friend to be your walking partner and to push you too; It's very helpful!
Good luck and I hope it helps!!
