he kept jumping over him until the lazy dog started to chase him, Past the brier patch, the quick brown fox ran up the hill. At the top of the hill was a well that had recently been abandoned by Jack and Jill. With nowhere else to go, the quick brown fox stopped and turned to face the lazy dog. He bared his teeth at the lazy dog, hoping that it would turn him away.

The lazy dog stopped, panting from the long chase. He paused to catch his breath, watching the quick brown fox the entire time. Finally, the lazy dog said, "Why did you jump over me?"

was it the quick brown fox that jumped over the lazy dog, HUH,,,lol I saw that on the movie Stripes. The fox was just too quick for the lazy dog to chase him, or even notice him at all. Must have been a hot summer day. The chicken, on the other hand, crossed the road to show the opossum it COULD BE DONE!!! The latter sentence my dear is YOU....

I do not know the answer to your question but if you did not know, the sentence ''the sly brown fox jumped quickly over the lazy dog'' is the only sentence so far using every letter in the alphabet once.

Psychologically, I think there was something going on in the fox's mind. Either to intentionally intimidate the dog or he thought there would be a hole on the other side of the dog in which he could plummet into and end his miserable life.
Of course another option is that this is a totally irrelevant question. You really need to get a hobby. Like alcoholism.

Way I heard it, it was a quick brown DOG who jumps over a lazy fox.

And why? Because his pal double-dog dared him to do it.
