I am hoping to buy or adopt a Ragdoll kitten, but any kitten that likes to be cuddled and held constantly would do. i live near Philadelphia, PA. Anyone have any ideas?

It is hard to predict whether a cat is going to like being held andd coudled as all cats have their own personalities. But ragdolls are adorable and expensive. Try googling Ragdoll Rescues and see if there is one near you. If you do not hav ethw money for a ragdoll, a local shelter is sure to have many cats to choose from.

I have a Ragdoll that is VERY stand-offish. He likes to be pet about once a day and then he's good. I have a Siamese that I adopted from the local SPCA that is the most affectionate and sweet cat in the world...it's really hit and miss.

Your local shelter is probably overflowing with many wonderful cats and kittens that need homes. Go take a look, and bring home the one that immediately wants to cuddle with you. That's the cat for you! Good luck!

I own a Rag-doll. She and the rest of her siblings all are cuddly. Another breed of cat that enjoys being held constantly is the Turkish Van. I just buried one about a year ago in my yard and haven't stopped crying yet. They are unbelievable!!
