does that question offend you because you believe that that's not what you do?

if so, don't accuse the Church and the Catholics of something they don't do, because it's offensive.

do unto others what you want to be done unto you.

(there, I re-phrased the post in the hope that you, fundies, would understand it well and answer sensibly not emotionally.)

and by the way, to people who don't know what a prayer is, it is a form of conversation to God and people who are in Heaven. but, I doubt you would let the sink into your head anyway. well, I just want to show that I still give you benefits of the doubt.

geez, okay, it's really futile having level-headed debate with you, fundies. I rest my case.

B, if that is your concept of throat, don't rum it down my throat. I ask a very simple question if you get offended by that question, and if so, then why offend the Catholics with false accusation against it? how hard is that to answer?

correction: concept of "truth".

NewCatholic, I don't mean to offend. I'm just stressing a point to make them better understand how offensive and destructive they are with their mis-informed beliefs.

I guess i'm a "fundie". =P

Hey I'm sorry if someone offended you. Maybe we just don't understand each other. If you love God and you trust in Christ, you're ok by me.. Heck, even if you hated God and hated Christ you'd still be ok by me, because you were made in his image and you're his favored creation.

Do you really think we worship the Bible? We don't.. As in, we don't pray to it.. But we do believe it is absolute truth and that it came from God, so it should be taken very seriously.

I've never prayed to the Bible before. Yet, Catholics pray to Mary when the Bible says that prayers should only be offered to the Father (Matthew 6:9). Where in the Bible does it say it's okay to pray to Mary?

Prayer is a form of worship. And giving anything that belongs to God to someone/something else is idolatry.

I don't worship the Bible, I worship God. The bible is not the literal word of God; it was written by men. You may find some Christians who believe otherwise, but that's what i believe.

I worship the Word of God, who is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. "
John 1:14

You cannot honor anyone above how you honor His word.
If you say you are a patriot, yet flaunt the laws of the land, you are a liar.
If you say you love God, but disregard what He has to say, your profession is empty.

They don't.

I've never met a fundie literate in the Bible.

They worship their pastors, who come up with nonbiblical nonsense like that hate the sin crap.

Be easy,

Returning stones will not make peace, it just causes more stone throwing.

We should be kind to our Protestant Brothers and Sisters. Kind words and actions will lead to us being unified once again.

Peace be with you.
