k so there is this girl ive liked for a long time now but then a friend of mine asked her out. thats ok with me cause i didn't make a move it's alright. so then she dumped him for another guy (his best friend), but there are some all powerful forces preventing them from being together (she explained it once but i didnt understand) so after a few months of them not going out i decided to make a move.
I got the let's just be friends speech and now im kinda scared of her "Boyfriend" (cause he is huge, once punch and id be out)

should i have waited to make my move or what?

No, you're ok. That was the only way you were going to find out anyways. Rejection is hard, I know. But it makes us stronger. Be her friend and move on.

You might have been better off trying to be her friend first. It sounds like she has been through a lot of guys lately and may want a break from the whole dating scene. Try being friends like she suggested and take it slow and easy! She may not even be the one for you. Don't get caught up in lust and hormones. Take it slow, man.

If she was already single when you asked her, then I do not see any reason why you should be "in hiding".

If you are afraid of other guys, what is your problem? Go to a gym and get some muscles!!!!!

Get a backbone!!!!!

Sounds like she's kind of a tramp. Perhaps you should set your sights higher and find someone better than her.
