No I can't say I'm a Marlin fan. Just not after him hitting Dale Sr in 2001 and causing that fatal wreck.

Yes, there are, and I'm proud to be one of them! I've been a fan of his since the days of the #94 Sunoco.
I've been told that my house is a shrine to Sterling Marlin. (And this person hasn't even seen my rented storage building.)
I met him and got my picture taken with him back when he drove the #8 Raybestos car. (For you young whipper-snappers, the #8 has NOT always had an Earnhardt behind the wheel.) I got the picture autographed when he drove the #4 Kodak car. A copy of that picture is now on a t-shirt.
One time an auto mechanic told me that I was a smart woman because I was wearing a t-shirt with Dodge and Coors Light on it. I told him that I hated to burst his bubble, but I was wearing Sterling Marlin shirts when he drove Chevys and Fords, too.
Sterling Marlin fans are loyal to the man, no matter what team he drives for.

Only person who screwed Sterling is Sterling. These guys who own these teams put millions and millions into these cars. Now what is the object of racing? Thats right........to win. Marlin has more DNFs in the last 5 years than he has top 5s and top 10s combined in the same amount of time. Not to mention he hasn't won a race in those 5 years.
Lets not forget its about the $$$ in NASCAR, its a business, and like any other business personality will only get you so far. Performance is what ultimately matters.

Been a Sterling Fan for nearly 20 years, started pulling for him when he drove the #44 Piedmont Airlines car for Billy Hagen. He really been shafted over this. Love to see him back in the Winner Circle one last time before he hangs it up.

Sterling, has been one of the cleanest drivers. Unfortunately, Ganassi, gave him the shaft, for not giving him the mehcanics and crew he needed. Ginn, is just as bad, no sponsers! What is up with that. Guess they just were to cheap to pump some money into their cars,

Sterling is a true racer. Old school style bump and nudge is acceptable in that sport. He could lay it on or lay off and cruise, he has fun either way. That is the point to everything, have fun or don't bother.
