Jeff Gordon. The fans love Dale Jr, but I think Gordon has more talent. Gordon has proven that he can win on race day. Dale Jr has yet to win a championship.

jeff gordon hands down. jr. is a good driver but nowhere near as good as jeff. i think jr moving to hendricks is a good thing if he ever wants to win. i myself dread him and jeff being teammates. i am a huge gordon fan and i'm not sure i like the idea of jr starting to win races :):) next year should prove to be interesting.

I am a Dale Jr fan, but Jeff Gordon definately has more natural talent. I think Jr is still raw around the edges, he will be better now that he has gone to Hendricks.

Boy some of the answers show the love that some folks have for Jr.,which is fine,but it can cloud perception.In every catagory major and minor Jeff has much better stats this year and career wise.Only catagory that Jr. beats Gordon in is most popular driver.A much better comparison is Smoke vs. Jeff,or in a year or two maybe Jimmy.But Lil E. has some winning to do before he joins those drivers.He's capable he just hasnt fully shown it.

hands down it is jr. the only reason that jeff gordon and jimmie johnson are doing well is because of their engine program, get jr in that set up and watch sparks fly. jr will be a champion in o8, ironic huh
