S_M_C beats me to it!
But I will tell you a secret look for local sponsors ie: bait and tackle shops, car dealer, eateries, marina or any of your local shops you do buisness with. Most ppl look only for major tackle sponsors but when I had my shops I sponsored guys fishing tournements too so give them a look see!
Tips to help you!
#1- be buisness like and polite!
#2- show them the real person that will be showin thier buisness off with advertisment at tournements!
#3- show demographic's of the ppl that will see there advertisment!
#4- Use the product dont just say you do!
#5- dont over sell yourself or lie be honest!
#6- This is a no-brainer send them buisness and make sure they know it was you that sent customers their way!

That's a question alot of angler's ask themselves!
(It's like someone asking,"How do I get sponser's for NasCar!???)
It's tough to get sponser's because you have to HAVE sponser's to GET sponser's!
Your best bet is to join a local Bass fishing club that is B.A.S.S. approved or just fish in tournement's that are B.A.S.S. approved. You can then start to add up "point's" & a "reputation" ,(if you start winning), and people will take notice. You can use this method in alot of different types of tourney's to gain recognition. This is a slow process but yield's great result's. Once you get known in your community as a "Bass Master", you can then start hitting Ma & Pa tackle stores and various comp's for "free" line, lures, battery's, Etc.
A quicker way to sponser's is to "sponser yourself". If you have the money, time, gear, appro Boat, and your in excellent physical shape, you can just "join the trail". "Fish Fishburn" had "Team Grandma" as a sponser.
Think hard on this decision. There are over 100 "regular's" on the trail, and only the top 35 get decent money for their "trail-time". Your decision to "go pro" can make or break you!
Good luck!

Finding sponsors Is extremly hard take it from me! Get your name known first, Win some big ones then start getting SMALL sponsors. Remember you are not important only your sponsor IS. Its not what your sponsor can do for you its what can you do for your sponsor.

You've got to have a lot more experience than you have my friend, if you have to ask.
