Of people who:
Make secret wishes to an invisible magic sky fairy,
Pronounce other peoples invisible magic sky fairies as false,
Claim people who don't believe in their invisible magic sky fairy may not have eternal life,
Pro actively avoid current and up to date mainstream knowledge of the natural world,
Fill innocent young minds with all of the above,
...and who believe it's all real..?
Sounds delusional to me, but what would be a clinical medical diagnosis for such behavior..?

Deslok, you have avoided the question completely. Are you afraid of what you might answer?

Grendal, if I'm so paranoid, why did you assume I was refering to your particular religion. You are the paranoid one, and you haven't answered the question..

Batgirl, why would I choose to "prove" a hypothetical question? You have simply avoided the question itself, that's all..

imacatholic, you too have avoided the question, and made an assumption regarding religion. However to humour your rant, I would point out to you that..:
1. The US constitution doesn't count for squat in the overwhelming majority of the world.
2. If the United Nations counts for the whole world, why does your country keep defying them?
3. What I consider a "universally", I think you mean "globally", accepted freedom is the freedom of children to stand on the shoulders of the intellectual giants before them, and not have their learning processes stifled with divisive and bigoted religious doctrine..

iamsaved, as you can see by Diana's post, there is indeed a term for such behaviour, so do you retract your narrow minded answer? You too have avoided the question, and instead tried to convert me to your particular deity worship practices. Charming..

Earl, yours is a typical underhanded christian ploy, to misrepresent mainstream scientific principles and understandings of the natural world, and then tear them down with infantile rhetoric and childlike logic. You have proven nothing, except your ignorance, denial and poker faced ability to lie through your teeth..
I hope you don't teach children that any of those malicious lies represent mainstream science, becasue that would be child abuse..
Just stay away from children Earl, and get an education before youir head implodes into a vacuum of ignorance..

Lucky for me..? Yes, lucky for me my friends, family and countrymen aren't being blown to bits by over zealous, brainwashed and ignorant western christian "crusaders"..!

Soulhunter, you clearly lack the knowledge to answer the question..
The dark tyranies you speak of are almost exclusively religiously sponsored, so you clearly lack any perspective within your "chosen" reality..

I don't know anyone that believes in a magic sky fairy but apparently you do. I would get that person, maybe yourself, some professional help. After that you and/or said person should read The Holy Bible and learn The Truth.
God Bless.

I don't know.
What do you call people who think we were once Chimpazies, but can't prove it hard evidence.
What do you think of people who say everything is made up of invisible one dimesonal strings that vibrate.
What do you think of people who claim to have found a life possible planet from wave undlations when they can decide if a planet 40 millioni miles away with 10 billion dollars worth of scientific equipment on it has or does not have life.
What do you think of people who teach something as fact for 60 years and then say it's no longer fact.
I was taught PLUTO WAS A PLANET
How about the eternal perpetual motion machine and compacts and explodes and creates the universe magically by serendipity.
What makes some tall tales more viable than other tall tales.

Well, in a way I agree with you, Common. However, in most ways I can't tell you enough how wrong you are. You see, we human beings are constantly trying to achieve some type of "truth." But what will that truth honestly gain us? Let's say you and I are right and there is no god and all things can be explained through science... are we really all that much better off? It seems to me that people like you and I are increasingly disenchanted with this world, and more reliant on a society that allows us to be so smart without being very self-reliant. In fact, we rely on other people pumping energy to power our homes, on schools and universities to give us "what we need to succeed." But to tell you the truth, I'm more confident in the survival ability of people whom you and I may call "stupid." In fact, the cult worshippers of say.. the Hace of south america, or the hunter gatherer tribes of Africa... If there is a nuclear winter or some other disaster, all our smarts about what we would call fact completely diminish our survivability. But, the people who understand their world through the divine presence of a god are more comfortable with the world in which they live, and therefore have a number of advantages in the real world. You see, we DON"T live in the real world. We live in a society that does pretty much everything for us... we've never gone hungry, nor been dependent on the weather. However, our society is fragile. And the day may come where our situation changes, and we will be at the disadvantage. So perhaps whatever medical description we would like to put on religion is completely gratuitous, and even condescending, where perhaps it shouldn't be.

It sounds like you are describing a citizen of one of the many countries of the world that has freedom of religion in a disdainful and abusive manner.
The citizens of the United States think this freedom is just as important as the freedoms of speech of the press. All are part of the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html
The entire world also agreed with this opinion and included freedom of religion in the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights. See Article 2: http://www.un.org/Overview/rights.html
What would be the clinical medical description of people who want to depict his fellow human beings using this universally accepted freedom as delusional?
With love in Christ.

There is no rational proof either against or pro God existence, so your statement lacks that knowledge.
In most countries freedom of religion is accepted unless some dark tyranies.

I think you are delusional since you are looking for a medical term to diagnose a behavior. Why don't you try praying to GOD and stop worrying about some magic sky fairy. Maybe He will find you worthy enough of an answer.

The clinical term for people with your paranoic and delusional beliefs regarding Christianity would be paranoid-schicophrenic. You also exhibit sadistic tendencies in your deliberately offensive use of terminology. As Ann Landers used to say, "Seek counseling immediately".

making the assumption that you are referring to an individual who lives in an semi-educated and/or semi-technologically advanced country....you are correct...it's called delusional behavior. It becomes concerning when the delusional behavior interferes with "normal" everyday life but you actually have to have somebody set "normal" guidelines in order to have socially deviant behavior so of course, depending on what your culture or society deems as "normal" will depend on whether or not the behavior is deviant or if it is, in fact, "normal" There are lots of people out there with lots of behavior that doesn't seem to make sense to anyone else...in other places these people may be worshiped or tortured or worse so if you don't live in one of those places.... WHEW lucky break for you!

thats the way of the world , the way it was meant to be , not all people are equal , doesnt matter if yr white or black brown , its about individuaity , why would you want to share your world with people who cannot understand it , to believe that we are on the same frequency is naive, life was never meant for cowards, heaven is for cowards.
