One of the things that happens to me over and aver again is the dropping away of the non-essentials. Growing up made it seem that people naturally accumulate more and more. Even things like information and experience became targets for getting. I think that I find that I need to let go of more and more. When I do so there remains something more vital and life-giving than I could imagine. Perhaps I was burdened by all the stuff I thought I would need. Down deep though there is only relationship being left. As Mother Therese of Calcutta said "When Jesus is all you have left, then you find that Jesus is all you need". I believe that even setting aside the Church, the Scriptures, the Ministry and whatever else might have been part of being a professional Christian, Jesus turns out to be all that is really needed. Perhaps letting go of all the rest is required to discover what really is important. God is saying that the measure of all things, even of God, is relationship.

After converting to Christianity( really born again), I've noticed I have a lot more sensitivity about not wanting to displease God in any way. That includes but not limited to not wanting to commit any sin, Being a better person all around like toward others, being more giving and forgiving also my Patience level with others has improved.
I'd say part of it came right after conversion and part of it is a growing learning process.

I am not demon possessed anymore (I cam out of satanism). I am not depressed or suicidal. I am joyful and content. I love other people and care about the hurting. I have time for others to minister to them because I am not caught up in living for myself. I don't worry about tomorrow or my needs. I never realized life could be so good, each day gets better and better. I have suffered physically with sickness for along time even while being a Christian. But my hope was knowing that I would be healed and it did happen. Having hope that no matter what we go through we are coming out and from that makes us a better person to be able to give more to the world.

I went from being a catholic with no personal knowledge of God to having a close and personal relationship with my Lord and Savior.
Before that I was full of anger, hate and hostility towards everyone and everything. My dream was to be a professional assassin and today I serve God by teaching the youth at my church.
My life has changed and since then I been blessed, loved, favored and most of all forgiven by God. Today I have hope and I trust I will be with God in heaven the day he calls for my soul.
Would I go back to my old life style...NEVER!!

my faith ( from not caring Christian to a Caring Christian ) was subtle . I'm still the same man I always was , Just alittle happier and can accept more in life . I'm still the dark individual I always was but now I know what the light is all about . I choose the light , I still like the darkness .

I was a non-practicing, non-believing Christian who finally found peace and happiness in Islam. Since I converted, I have been happy, had much stronger faith, a deeper understanding of myself and peace in my heart.

If you can call taking refuge in Buddhism a "conversion" from Catholicism and Wicca, my life has changed significantly. I learned where the things I perceived as "bad" and "suffering" really comes from, how to change what I perceive and how to be less angry. I'm still working on it of course, but it's a great journey... one I'm deeply grateful for, to those who continue to turn the Dharma Wheel and remain as teachers.
May they (Sangha, precious lamas, Bodhisattvas) all remain to lead all sentient beings to enlightenment and the happiness that is freedom from suffering.

Not really a faith, but my conversion from Christianity to Agnosticism has resulted in a better ability to process and interpret information.

Was raised catholic and I have left and found my own faith. I have my own God and my own ideas of how things work
Ever since I have found my own faith I am happier, more understanding, things make sense to me, I don't feel as ashamed about the world and the things in it.
