I personally do not think that it hurts to the point of crying. My first tattoo is on my back and it yes there was some pain, but it only hurt on my left side. Everyone said it would hurt but it wasn't too bad. I have I large rose with leaves on the sides with my name (Christine) under it. and the only thing that hurt was the C and H and the left leaf.... And mind you at the time I got my tattoo I was only 108 lbs.

Cute , Just make Sure that you can deal with that on your back for the rest of your life ! .. As far as Pain goes , getting a tattoo will hurt , but not as bad as you think ! You skin will numb a bit , so it's not that bad !!

all tattoos hurt...think of it as a sewing machine on your skin inserting ink into your skin...it just depends on how bad you want it and how high your pain tolerance is...most tattoo artists will take breaks for you to calm down or whatever if you need it and most times they let you have a person there for support.

tattoos are like getting kicked in the face by a golf shoe. I have 7. the worse one was between my shoulder blades and down my spine..... the cover up was worse.

Depends on how bad you want it. If it's something with no meaning behind it then yes. I would wait until you think of something you really want. Then you can block out the pain.

like a hornet sting is as bad as it gets. it isnt that bad. and usually ppl have adrenilin going when it starts. that allways helps. I think tatts are great. i couldnt think of a bigger turn on. lol i love them. get it.
