Keep on hiding behind a wall and wait for your cat to see you, then quickly hide, make sure your kneeling down on the ground very close to the ground, keep repeating, soon ur cat will stalk you or run at you! but probably she/he will not bite or scratch....

run around with a string!!!!!

give your cat milk rings, the things that you have to pull off so that you can open ur milk, NOT THE LID!

Catch the piece of kleenex moving back and forth under the door.

Chase the milk ring.

Follow the red dot from a laser pointer.

Chase the single piece of kibble tossed to skitter across the length of the hall.

My cat loves feathers! I've gotten decorative peacock feathers from craft stores (she ends up tearing them to shreds so we have to replace them) and waved them around she runs and jumps and chases them, she can't get enough. Honestly, it's the only "toy" she'll actually play with. Other toys -if she even gives them a second glance - she'll lay on her side and bat at them until they are out of reach, but if she has to move to get it, she won't bother. But get out the feather and she's like a kid at McDonald's playland!

Just take some string and wave it around them. They'll roll around and try to grab it in their paws and mouth.
