Possibly in Dallas, Houston, the big cities. But rural Texas... heaven's no! They're not real happy with anybody but Baptists! Where we lived, there were probably about 50 Baptists churches, 2 Methodist, 2 Lutheran, and 1 Catholic! Not very diverse!!

Based on the number of mosques sprouting up, Texas is becoming a favorite place for muslims to live whether it is good or not.

Texas is indeed a good place for Muslims to live as any other in the United States. The laws protect Muslims, who have opportunities to worship as they please as long as they like anyone else is not breaking the law or supporting anyone breaking the law.
There are always prejudiced nuts in all places too. So, beware of them =)

If you lived in a large city then maybe things will be alright. but you'd probably feel isolated in a smaller town/city rural area.
the crowd in new york is a bit more diverse though so you may feel more at home there.

Sure, they should all be living in Corpus Christi (this means BODY OF CHRIST) :) maybe we should all move there. I mean CHRISTians and muslims too.

Probably not. Jihad is not tolerated here, and we Texan women don't take kindly to a man telling us what to do. This is one state you won't ever get a "stan" in.
