My boyfriend of one year is doing this. I don't know why he would do this. I have never cheated on him. Is this a sign of a potential abuser.

I have never had that happen.
I don't know about abusing but he certainly doesn't trust you. If you've never given him a reason to believe you would cheat and he's doing this after one year of being together then he'll probably never completely trust you.
It's not a good sign. It most likely that it will escalate into a controlling situation.

This is a sign of a manipulative control freak. RUN, don't walk, away from this or you will end up like those freaks
on the Jerry Springer or Maury shows!!!! Besides, this
is America, you know? You can go where you want, you
are not his property. (Unless it's his car, then he can check
the mileage any time he wants, but you shouldn't have to
account for your time or whereabouts...)

Get out of this relationship as soon as you can. This is possibly one of many signs of abuse that may develope into something worse as time goes on. Good luck hun... sorry to have to tell you this.

It's definitely an indication that he doesn't trust you at all, so if you drop him now, you've only invested a year in this. Let it go and you'll be controlled for the rest of your life.

No, I haven't. This sounds like he's a nut, and is very controlling. I would get out while I still had the chance.

Its the sign of something, that's for sure...how long has he been doing that?...It's called be in control of someone...and if it's just started...it could develop into something worse...hope this helps...

do the same with him and you will know by his reaction.if he gets mad, it's not a good sign.
if he thinks he overreacted and you 2 laugh about it's ok.
