I've always read that you should never eat less than 1,200 calories per day, when trying to lose weight. You're barely under that.. so I don't really see how the amount of calories you're consuming (though you should up them just a tad) would be slowing your weight loss.
Chances are, since you aren't very far from your goal weight.. it's just going slower since you have less to lose.
The best advice I can give you, is to raise your calories a bit (1,200 - 1,500) and do some exercises to burn more calories (thus losing the weight). If burn 500 calories per day, that equals 1 pound per week.. and so on. Of course, you have to take your calorie deficit into consideration as well. I know a bit about that.. but I would hate to misinform you or something. So, I would suggest going to a good website that calculates all that (like caloriesperhour.com) and see what it says.
You can definately reach your goal weight by the end of October. Just remember, to make sure you're eating enough (and the right kinds of foods) and getting plenty of exercise. Also, keep in mind.. that what it takes to reach your goal weight, it will take to maintain it. So, make sure that whatever you're doing.. it's something you're prepared to stick to.
Best of luck!

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

Yes. When you don't eat enough or skip meals, your body burns muscle for energy and stores fat. Much better to eat at least 2,000 cals./day and get regular exercise. 2-3lbs./week is the most you can lose and remain healthy. Even if you're not exercising, 1100 cals./day isn't enough.

Definitely if you eat too few calories your body holds on to any type of calorie/fat it intakes.
What I recommend is boost your calorie intake a bit more, but eat mainly vegetables with the extra calories. Carrotts, broccoli, lettuce, mainly green vegetables. Those types of vegetables usually burn more calories digesting than what is actually in them, so it will help you burn more calories. Also, grapefruit after each meal helps absorb some fat intake of food and boosts metabolism. I did this in college, I changed nothing about what I ate, but ate a grapefruit after each meal and lost nearly 10 pounds.
