Several Dozen, I should think.

Drip, percolaters (yes, I'm old), French Press, you name it, I've bought it and either wore it out or broke it.

Oddly my current fave is a 'best buy' with a 90 rating at consumer reports and makes fantastic coffee. The best news?

It can be had for around $20! Really! Not to be violating any spam rules, but check out the Braun Aromamaster KF400.

I'll be sad when it's gone...

Best wishes!

I would have to say I'm on my 3rd coffee maker in the last 10 years. One I had to replace because I broke the glass pot, and I also received a very high end Krups coffee maker/bean grinder as a gift and this thing was around 100 bucks and it stopped working in about a year!!! How disappointing. Then i just got a regular old Black and Decker cheapy from Kmart. The 20 dollar coffee maker, with no fancy stuff on it and I can't complain at all. It does its job and these cheap ones seem to just keep going and going. This cheap one I have now has worked flawlessly for the last almost 5 years.

I had a Pyrex pot for many years (15 then my Husband dropped it in the sink (sigh) and I have gone through 8 drip pots 3 perk pots, 4 espresso pots and 1 vacuum pot - I lost count of the French Presses long ago. I have just purchased 1 enamel stove top pot for my Earthquake kit so if I can't have electricity I can still use my camp stove to make coffee. yup - got to have my coffee.

So far only about 3...once it broke, and the 2nd one I broke the glass decanter by accident. The new one i have has a stainless steel decanter, not glass so coffee stays warmer longer. Also has settings for reg. or strong coffee.

I am on 4th one now. I broke the glass on the others. So far this one is great, even has filter so you don't have to use paper ones.
