Believe it or not, the planet will be just fine. We, on the other hand will not be fine at all. The planet will continue long after we are gone as it did long before life evolved on it.
Global warming has not been proposed by Al Gore as some of our less intelligent posters have commented. It has been stated as fact by about 99% of the legitimate climatologists on this planet. The only people who disagree with it have an agenda and were hired by the coal, oil and gas companies to make sure that the issue is confused. This is very similar to the whole "Creation scientist" rubish that is funded by say the Templeton Institute. No legitimate scientist believes that we didn't evolve but there is always one out there looking for a paycheck.
The universe or God if you can believe that rubbish DOES NOT CARE if we live or die. It is completely up to us to decide that.

Global warming as it has been presented is BS. There have been alot of changes in the world lately but it is all a trend. God put the world in motion. Time and chance happeneth to them all.
Just because people die doesn't mean they aren't saved.

Heh.
You would think a loving God would just send a message rather than drowning a bunch of people to make a point. But then you would have problems with the whole noah story too.

Can't we look to something other than god as the cause of this warning? What's behind it is energy consumption. Don't look to god on this one... this is real life stuff. We need grown ups here, not little children who believe in Noah and his ark.
It's like when someone gets saved by a lifeguard at the pool and the mother "thanks god" for her child's safety.... Thank the LIFEGUARD!

So, if THIS flood is a message from God, then are all floods messages from God? And if not, why are you singling this one out?
Just because God doesn't save people doesn't mean he can't. And just because he doesn't behave the way you think he should doesn't mean he doesn't exist or is incapable.

No. Its God's way of getting back at whoever was mixed up in the plot to get rid of Lady Diana. And while he's at it he's trying to ruin Camilla's best shoes.

My thought is that he's warned us for several millenia but we don't listen. The bible is loaded with warnings. Including Revelation 11:18 that speaks of those who destroy the earth suffering his wrath.
