Do you despair when you read all the mean-spirited attacks on our faith in this forum? Well, don't. Remember what our Lord said: "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11). Each atack is a blessing for us. And also remember: The story of the world is already written, and in the end, WE WIN! Those who choose evil will reap what they sew. Stay strong in your faith in Christ the Lord.

At first it was very discouraging to see so much hate and mockery towards God and/or Christianity. But then I turned it around. I created a prayer list for everyone on Y!A who ridicules, insults, mocks, or is mean-spirited like that. I decided that once we tell people about Jesus, all we can do is pray for them. That's the best way to help them. And if they don't believe, then that's between them and God. But there is always hope. God bless.

As a Wiccan, I read alot of the mean-spirited attacks on our faith in this formu, too. No need to despair. My faith is strong enough to withstand the Christian attacks.

I find it funny that you glory in the belief that you win. I didn't know it was a game.

All I despair is the potential lose of so many good well intentions souls. My great hope is that one of my posts someday combined with my prayers for these people will lead one to Christ... Jim

What is the most upsetting is when Catholics and Protestants cannot disagree with each other about doctrine without bashing and insulting each other. It is outrageous to read some of the nasty things that they say about each other.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why despair? What a better place to witness and be a missionary!!! Just don't judge or try too hard to convert. Just show them and tell them what Jesus has done for you in your life. The message will have been delivered and the seed planted. Thanks and have a great day!!

Yeah, but could you also be a little less smug? I think pride is supposed to be one of those bad things...

Actually, on second thought, continue being smug. Just quietly tell yourself how superior you are for your faith, and leave the rest of us in bliss. We'd really appreciate it.

Please don't despair. Use this as a chance to learn.

You can look at it as an exercise to strengthen your faith, but please educate yourselves on scientific principal, so that you finally can give us a reason to believe.

Just quoting scripture and telling us stories about miracles in Africa doesn't work. We need proof, please learn about science so that you can give it to us.
