actually what would be complicated is finding an excuse to tell your teacher when you forget one of your 8 binders at home and have nothing to turn in. One binder makes everything MUCH easier because everything is in one place and you can have folders and stuff for each class and put it in your binder. One binder for each class is just a disaster waiting to happen

i had a single binder for all of my classes last year, and i didnt really have any problems other than it being much heavier, which is why im going to use separate binders this year. i know many people who do that and say that its much easier to handle, although you have to make sure that you have the right binder. other than that, i would say that overall separate binders win.

When I was in school, I was always bringing the wrong binder. So I just had one giant one, separated with dividers for each subject. Include a 3-hole punch, save and date everything, and file it as you get it. I put each new paper on top of the old, so the newest stuff was on top, older stuff you had to dig for. Lined paper on the top of each section for notes.
I always had everything. It worked for me.

i think you should have separate binders. it helps you stay more organized; you don't want to get things mixed up!

i kept binders separate at home or in my locker. i carried a clipboard around every day and transferred everything off of it later.

They will probably tell you what they (the teachers) want. If this is your biggest problem, be happy.
