You wish. :-P

I would hazard a guess that most of them are nominally xian, largely because it is a predominately rural, Western sport, and small town and ranch life tends to embrace pretty traditional values and lifestyles.

But you know . . . at heart, the "cowboy code" looks a whole lot like heathenry: honor, courage, truth, loyalty . . . straight shooter and square dealer . . . handshake as ironclad as any contract . . . the godhs help those who help themselves . . . yep. Sounds like us with a lil' Jesus and Sunday "humble pie" on top for appearances' sake. :-)

It would be the same as the Dixi Chicks stating that Bush was a terrible president. The fan base would disappear.

It would be fitting since Pagan means "country". Bullriders are like Rockstars. It would not be fun to be held back by antisexual beliefs when you have so many groupies.

Athletes are always thanking god for their accomplishments. Wouldn't it be great if one said, " I just put my faith in Dagda, father of the earth" or " all praise to Mephistapheles"
