Walk. Change his habits. Park farther away from stores. Eliminate drive throughs. Take the steps.

More importantly, keep away from sodas (even diet), sweet tea, fried food, fast food of any kind, pizza, and processed carbohydrates and proteins of any kind. Make this sort of stuff a reward rather than a normal part of the diet.

The horrible diets of today's kids is much more to blame than lack of exercise. Most food is laced with some combination of high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, and refined flour, all of which have zero nutritional value and pretty much go straight to fat in your body.

No pictures needed. He should go outside and run around. Climb trees, play baseball, whatever. Just make sure he has plenty of Gatorade to stay hydrated. Take him to a park if you don't have a yard.
Swimming is also good exercise for kids. They can do it all day long, and it's relatively cheap.
If you have a track, take him there to run around. Challenge him to see how many laps he can do.

If you want indoor exercises, he's probably not going to be interested. Send him outside.

Bicycle riding would be great for him and fun. Also walking. I would say 20 minutes a day or 30 minutes 3 time a week would be great.
