The ethic of reciprocity or "The Golden Rule" is a fundamental moral principle found in virtually all major religions and cultures, which simply means "treat others as you would like to be treated." It is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human rights. Principal philosophers and religious figures have stated it in different ways,
"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the lord." — Torah Leviticus 19:18
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." — Jesus (c. 5 B.C.E. - C.E. 32 ) in the Gospels, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 22:39, Luke 6:31, Luke 10:27
"When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the lord your God." — Torah Leviticus 19:33-34
"This is the sum of duty; do naught unto others what you would not have them do unto you." — Mahabharata (5:15:17) (c. 500 B.C.E.)
"What you do not wish upon yourself, extend not to others." — Confucius (ca. 551 - 479 B.C.E.)
"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man." — Hillel (ca. 50 B.C.E. - C.E. 10)
"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." — Muhammad (c. C.E. 571 - 632), Hadith 13 of al-Nawawi's Forty Hadith.
seems there are similarities as well.

We are all made in our fathers image. But we are not perfect we have to strive to be perfect which is hard at times, We have to treat all people the way we want to be treated, you don't want someone in your face telling you what to do, or how to do it all the time. You can tell people in a nice way where to get off, You don"t have to take other peoples ways or be a part of their group.

Christianity does not have a clue how to develop the perfect character that Yahweh's commands us to have.
They reject the only way to come to perfection.
Brother you can be perfect, but you must be willing to make a change from the sinful lifestyle that you're living in.
Gen 17:1 ¶ And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am Almighty Yahweh; walk in my ways, and be thou perfect.
Psa 103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses.
By learning Yahweh's 613 laws you will not only learn how to treat others the way you want to be treated.......
You will learn how to treat others the way Yahweh wants you to treat them.
By doing this you will obtain that perfect character like your Father in heaven has.

It's a concept that is generally claimed in most major believe systems. As humans it's a smart way to think and a considerate way to think. Certainly harmless. Do we all do it ALL the time? No, we're human.

good question....they are so busy pulling specks out of other people's eyes that they don't see the planks in their own...it has always bothered me how fake christians are so accepting of the fact that they are not perfect and that they are sinners.....if they believe what Jesus taught, they should strive to be holy and pure....

Well I am not perfect. I admit sometimes I can be harsh. My mom raised me to respect people and I do, but my downfall is you make me mad I show it. I am bad to voice my opinion when I am mad. So call me fake if you wish, but I know I am saved.

I don't know how fake Christians want to be treated...I'm neither fake nor real in Christianity.
I'd guess that it's as innocuous as saying please be nice to me and I will be nice to you. Funny how it doesn't always work that way, isn't it?

'Perfection' is totally subjective. People treat others the way they do from whatever place they're at- developmentally. :)
