DUMB question asked by a DUMB person. I would hate to be your family when they are sending you off to jail for killing a sweet innocent little baby in a firery car crash because your dumb, stupid, R-tarded *** thinks you can drive better drunk.....idiot bag, go die

Its amasing how people think that they can drive better drunk, but that is your state of mind telling you that you doing fine until you crash. More and more people are killed by drunk drivers a day, and that it why I believe it is not illegal. Would you let your daughter drive home drunk even though she said she could? What if she got killed for doing it? How would you feel if you killed an infant because you thought you could drive ok? Cell phones are another good cause of death in car accidents.... dont tell me you can drive drunk and talk on the phone and be ok!

Because a lot of people lose their lives for someone that thinks he drives better when they are drunk. I am glad its illegal, and wish people would relize that when they drink and drive you are not only putting yourselve at risk but everyone else that is on the road! Think about this: You are driving drunk home, and you kill your sister and you live, how would you feel!

I don't wanna call you SMARTASS because someone else already did it, so here it goes " when I was 24 years old I came to a stop sign in Houston, Texas (back then called Bingle road and I10) and I was waiting for the light to change to green, but when the light changed on my radio display ( my stereo had 3 different colors to choose from) I tought it was the stop light that changed to green and I drove thru the intersection and lucky me no cars were coming.... this is the answer to your Q, alcohol will impair your judgement and MAKE you believe that you can drive better.

You may THINK you are driving under the influence because being drunk alters your perception.
When I was in College, I had some friends who took LSD a lot. They claimed that being under the influence of POT and other drugs helped make them better musicians. I argued that being under the influence changed their perception of reality.
I suggested an experiment.
1. Take something you are reasonably good at, such as playing a particular music composition.
2. Record yourself playing that while
(a) cold sober and wide awake
(b) while drunk on alcohol
(c) while high on POT
(d) while LSD in your system
(e) when dead tired
(f) any other condition you can think of
(g) combinations
3. Now listen to that same effort ... coparing each of the efforts, while under the same kinds of conditions
The question is which condition appears to hae the best result, when perceived by you in the various situations.
They did the experiment, then agreed with me that being under the influence does in fact radically alter preceptions, and memories.
It took them being cold sober, listening to something they had done under the influence, to realize that being under the influence has a radical effect on perceptions, and memories of that experience.

You can't be serious? If you are, then you are a moron.
When you are drunk, your body is in a state of hypoxia, which means your abilities are impaired due to lack of oxygen to your brain.
Drunk driving KILLS. I know someone who lost his daughter because a drunk driver hit her while she was riding her bike.
I had a neighbor run into my parked car a few months ago. This was his third DUI arrest.
I hope you don't live anywhere near me!

you THINK you drive better when drunk. Unfortunately thoughts and reality arent always the same.
Theres a reason its illegal. Its because drunk drivers kill a silly number of people a year.
