I've helped people here on Y!A and have spread Islamic awareness. I know a couple people that were interested in coming to the Islamic prayer (because my "good manners" and being Muslim, they don't even know me too well).

Unfortunately no one has converted as a result of my example. Someday though??

You can't convert into Islam you can convert out of Islam but you can't convert into the religion of submiission you where born into.. and most people that come into this relgion have to realize its all done for the sake of the all mightly lord only.. not because you want to marry a muslim, not because you think its the right thing to do... it has to be done for the pleasure of the lord and every single thing after that till death or its all null and void.

Alhumdulilah..... i can't say that it was based on my example but i have had two friends since i converted that also converted to Islam.... all i did was share literature and the things i knew about Islam with them... and my reasons for converting

It's amazing to me that, in Islam, even though we don't seek out conversions.... Allah often guides those near us to Islam. It is a wonderful feeling to hear that someone you care about took their shahadah

Peace and Blessings,
Sakina

Yes, I know this lady who reverted to Islam 10 yrs back. She was a hindu before that, but when we studied Islam she took interest in getting to know more about it. Later she married to a muslim man and mashallah now has two young daughters . A few weeks back she took her daughters to my sister and I to give them quranic lessons. They are brilliant and learn with great interest, and its a pleasure teaching them!
