alone and desperate, as if a man in my life will solve all my problems. I haven't had a boyfriend in awhile now. People say I'm pretty, I'm educated, and am working towards a career that I love. They say I'm a free spirit, but some also say, Diva. There were these wonderful men who liked me before but, I guess I'm afraid of giving my all to someone just for them to leave me...so I keep testing them. Now, I have noone. How do I stop feeling so needy?

It's great that you've opened up to yourself and let yourself know that you do have higher standards.
Try letting the next guy in and give him a chance. Maybe call some old guys that may still want to get together with you.
Just realizing that you've become too picky is the first step in jumping over those problems, but you're always going to have to be tolerable of things that aren't exactly perfect, because face it, no one is perfect.

Having standards is not a bad thing, but trying to hold every man you come across up to this "perfect" image, is.

You're never going to find someone who is perfect in every single way...or mold exactly to your standards. Love is not perfect, and a few times you probably will get hurt, but thats the only way you're going to find the right guy for you.

well, u never really loved those guys.. because when the ryt guy comes.. u wont just let him go, because of that standard u set.you'll know if you're in love because the guy will always be the exception among all the standards..

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think being alone may suit you.

I'm in the same boat...the old saying is true, "You don't what you got 'til it's gone..."
