Would you care to commit to praying for all the Jehovah's Witnesses who use YA for the next seven days, for the Lord to give them "a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Him" (Ephesians 1:17) ?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to one day call these JW's brother's and sister's in Christ ?
Can I please get an "Amen" ?
Blessings.
God IS able!

PS Could you PLEASE also star the question so that your Christian contacts can see it also ?
Let's get LOTS of the Lord's people praying for these JW's.
May God glorify His name!

Yes, Sasi. Praying for ANYONE can be a long-term project. But it would be great for us to all be praying in a co-operative effort.
I started this morning (Fri 27 July) and intend to continue BEYOND 7 days.
Hey, maybe it should be just a SYMBOLIC 7 days ?
Blessings.

Not fooled -
Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
If you have a Scriptural basis for objecting to my prayer request, please feel free to share it with us.
May the Lord bless you. x

Tzadiq -
"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who does not continue in ALL things which are written in the book of the law, to do them'. But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for 'the just shall live by faith'. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit THROUGH FAITH ." Galatians 3:10-14 (caps for emphasis).
You can't pick & choose which bits of the law you want to observe, Tzadiq. It's all or nothing (James 2:10). Have YOU done so ? If not, why are you so swift to judge others ?

"You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain." Galatians 4:10 & 11.
Your comments REEK of lovelessness and legalism, Tzadiq. THAT'S a stench in the nostrils of God.
May He be gracious to you.

Amen sister, and I hope you don't mind if I pray for the born again Christians too, that Yahweh will lead them out of their paganism and into the truth. We are all to grow in grace and knowledge and it is a little disingenuous to pray for JW's deliverance when you have unrepented sins of your own that are a stench in the nostrils of God, Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter, Not honoring the Sabbath or His holy days which are divine appointments he has set to meet his people on by Gods own words are a stench in his nostrils and an offense to Him. The food laws which if you born again Christians would simply follow them you would find that you are far less sick so often and the occurrences of cancer in the body would drop dramatically.
Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever! (Deut 5:29) See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse-- the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today; (Deut 11:26-27)
Surely you want God's blessings in your life. You have been blessed with salvation and joy why not take the next step and obey his voice out of your love for him and just see how much more blessed your life becomes
Repent! The kingdom of God is at hand.

Hallelujah!
Oh, wait, that helps prove Jehovah's Witnesses really are correct to feature the name Jah (Jehovah).
This question is a joke! What I've seen is the average JW answer here is reasonable and mild. The average anti-JW answer here is rabid insult and outrageious accusation. Its pretty obvious to me which one is already the true Christian.
JWs don't go around saying the rest of you aren't Christians. Why don't you guys get off your high horse and do the same?

Hallelujah and Amen! But could I just add that praying for JWs is long-haul ministry - not just a 7 day wonder? (wonderful though 7 days would be - I'm not knocking it!)
A Christian lady once prayed for 2 whole years for a JW girl who visited her twice to try to argue against Christ being God. The lady did not argue. She just said, "In my Bible, it says in Jn 1:1 that the Word was God and I'm sticking to what my Bible says." End of discussion. Begining of 2 years' prayer. But that JW girl didn't know it. She did 2 years later after being convinced of the deity of Christ through other Christians reaching out to her. Immediately, she thought of this lady and tried to phone her (hit and miss attempt via the phone book - it 'hit' first time). They met as the lady was on the verge of emigrating and the ex-JW girl learned of her prayers. Then the lady said, "And I had just been asking God for confirmation that he was answering my prayers, when you phoned." 'Nuff said?

AMEN! There are quite a number of us here who earnestly pray for the salvation of what we call the "Watchtower Witnesses." You're right that prayer is necessary. Since the veil of delusion over their eyes is so thick that they cannot see the truth, only God can push that veil aside -- IF they let Him. So I pray that God will lift that veil and permit the light of the true Gospel to penetrate their hearts, turning stone into flesh. Because He desires that we ALL repent, and since nothing is impossible for Him, I have faith that He will accomplish this.

AMEN to that, brother! We could start a REVIVAL!
When I was lost, wandering in a spiritual wilderness, my dear sister prayed for me for 10 YEARS and, yes, God answered her prayers and I was brought to saving grace. Oh, and I used to be a Jehovah's Witness so I have a heartfelt, burning desire for God to break in to their lives, soften their hearts, unstop their ears and open their eyes to the beauty of Christ.

Oooooo yeah, and then we can pray for the Pope, that he would no longer be the anti-christ, and then for all the pagans, and then for everyone to realize that 'christ-mass' is in reality a christianized pagan holiday, and then that Pres. Bush will actually become a Christian......
Hey, do you detect a note of sarcasm here? If you're breathing, you should!
I pray for those who show the fruit of being a part of the bride of Christ. There aren't a lot of them, but they are in great peril. They are on the walk of 'Pilgrim's Progress' and it should be pointed out that you may just be one of the characters out of it.
No, no, no, don't tell me! Mr. Wordly Wiseman?
Am I right?
