I have transferred about 16 images to CD for an important presentation on Monday ... but they're all in the wrong viewing order! Can I alter this ... and, if so, HOW???

Rename them A_imagename or 1_imagename. That way even if your burner program trys to rearrange them again they will be fine because it will try to do it either alphabetically or numerically.

If you've used a CD-RW or burnt them on a CD-R with 'multi session' turned on, then you will be able to save to the CD again. If 'this session only' or 'single session' or similar was clicked then you won't.

Rename your files. If you number them start with 001 rather than 1 as if you don't 10 to 19 with list immediately after 1 and above 2.

Inserting them into a PowerPoint presentation would be your best bet, that way you can present the images in a slide show, with automatic timing if you wanted.

Good luck!

Ok there are two ways to do this.

One is to put them onto a powerpoint presentation in the correct order then burn that to disk.

Or name and number then in the order you would like them to appear then burn them to disk.

I am afraid to say that it is too late to alter the disk you have already made.

When you get to the machine you will present the images from, and copy them locally to the system. Rename them to appear in the order you want from there.

You cannot rename or order them once they are burned.
